Dear friends,

I am very pleased to show you the new botanicals that I just designed for the MAY 29 - 31 Strokework Botanical seminar.

Note Re: Canadian and US dollar exchange. Since the seminars were originally posted on the website there has been a significant change in the US dollar. To be fair to both our Canadian and US students, the price will remain at $350.00 Canadian. Mary will calculate the US exchange on the date on which the seminar is paid.

For example, today the US price for this seminar is about $280.00. I encourage our US students to take advantage of this.

MAY 29 - 31
Strokework Botanical

The series of botanical paintings that I started three years ago has been such a success with my students and a joy to create.

As a bonus, this style of painting is very current with today's decor.

Framed, they make a beautiful addition to your home.

Honeysuckle

Anemones

This year I designed Anemones and Honeysuckle, with which I am sure you are most familiar.

My friend and student Jana Reynolds introduced me to a very rare flower, the Parrot Flower from Thailand. As soon as I saw this amazing flower I had to paint it.

Look carefully and you will see how these flowers look like small birds.

Parrot Flower
I think it completes the new 2009 series of three botanical paintings. I hope you will join us for this seminar and experience a new approach to strokework.

Look for another newsletter soon announcing the release of new packets, a dvd and other exciting news.
